Nick's interest is immediately peeked with Lindsay, she calms him in a way that has not been for a long time. Andrew also wants Lindsay and plans to win her. However Nick is unwilling to let her go, the two brothers need to figure out how they both can keep Lindsay in their lives. Lindsay though has her own troubles with a dishonest stepfather intent on getting her money and her out of the way.

This was a fun read. I liked Lindsay she was unpredictable and was not sure where the story would turn out. Nick was my favorite, I thought he was a charmer and underestimated by his family. Hope there will be more in this series to come.

This is not that different than a typical Jenny Penn. There is a bit more plot/action, though it still has a LOT of her trademark sex, both menage (M-F-M) and one-on-one. The heroine is typically "feisty" verging on obnoxious, but a "true submissive" who can't resist the heroes. I skipped Kansas Heat 2, but I didn't have any problem following the story. If you like Jenny Penn's style, then this should be up your alley.

The reason that this is 2 stars instead of 3 is that this book needs SERIOUS EDITING. There are numerous missing words throughout the book. Even when all of the words are there, frequently they are incorrect words. And often the wording is just confusing or does not convey the right meaning. You can still understand the gist of the book, but this is sloppy and not worthy of an actual publication with an actual editor. It almost feels like a self-published book. Okay, it's not quite THAT bad, but it is not worth over $5.00 (even though it is over 7,000 KIndle locations long).

I'm actually not done with the book yet (at 70%), but I'm not sure whether I'm going to finish it or return it and wait for an edited version.
